Burton Metal Finishing and Powder Coating Grand Re-Opening
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) July 29, 2015 -- Burton Metal Finishing and Powder Coating, Inc. is hosting a grand re-opening ceremony for the community on Thursday, July 30, 2015. After suffering from a devastating three-alarm fire in 2013, the third-generation family business needed to be completely rebuilt. Nearly two years since the fire, Burton Metal Finishing and Powder Coating has risen from the ashes and is open for business.
The rebuilding process has been tedious and has held many obstacles since the fire, but the 3 Burton Siblings who now run the company say business is better than ever. "Our father, Dallas Burton opened the doors to our family owned business on January 4, 1988. Over the past 27 years, we've expanded the size of our facility and the services we offer our customers. We look forward to the future in the coating industry. We are excited to celebrate the grand re-opening on Thursday, July 30, 2015, with everyone,” Scott Burton.
Luckily, no one was injured during the fire but just about everything in the decades-old facility needed to be rebuilt. The new building has the latest technologies, production lines, and equipment and is safer than ever before. Not only does the new Burton Metal Finishing feature a zinc rack, zinc barrel, and aluminum anodize production line, but also will soon have aluminum hard coat, electro-polish, 300 series passivation, zinc and phosphate production lines. Burton also hold’s one of Ohio’s largest Powder Coating facilities and a brand new, state of the art water treatment plant which treats 10,000 gallons of water in just 30 minutes by separating out the solid materials from the water.
The Grand Re-Opening Ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at the newly reconstructed Burton Metal facility, which is located at 1711 Woodland Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219. The ceremony will feature tours, guest speakers, and more. Doors will open at 9:30 AM and the ceremony begins at 10:00AM with guest speakers such as Senator Charleta Tavares, Council Woman Michelle Mills, Regional Representative for Sherrod Brown, Chadd Smith, a Representative for Joyce Beatty and a Representative for Rob Portman.
