Business & Legal Resources’ Accredited Workplace Violence Prevention Symposium Will Return to Orlando March 2-3, 2017
Brentwood, TN (PRWEB) December 08, 2016 -- Roughly 2 million workers a year are affected by some form of workplace violence, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). These violent incidents average $500,000 in lawsuits and $3 million in jury awards. The 2017 Workplace Violence Prevention Symposium, held March 2-3 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, will help employers combat these costs and mitigate the risk of a violent attack on their workplace.
The event will bring together regulators, law enforcement, safety experts, and risk management professionals to outline tactical strategies for protecting your facility from security breaches, workplace violence, and legal liabilities under OSHA’s General Duty Clause and other laws.
