Butterfield Speaks to Coach Finalists at Vator Splash Oakland Event
Oakland, CA (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 -- As part of its sponsorship of Vator's inaugural two-day tech conference and startup competition in Oakland, Butterfield Speaks has brought in local communications expert, Andrew Hurteau, to provide presentation skills coaching to the finalists in the Vator Splash Oakland competition. Butterfield Speaks is a national communication and presentation consulting firm based in San Francisco.
Vator, one of the largest business networks dedicated to entrepreneurs and investors, is hosting its popular Splash competition and 1,000-person conference to Oakland’s Jack London Market on May 6-7 (8:30 to 5:30 pm).
Andrew Hurteau, who frequently travels across the country to teach public speaking skills, says he is thrilled to support this event highlighting the growth of innovation in his home town.
"I love helping people tell their story, especially when it's people on the cutting edge," says Hurteau. “They are on the cusp of success, they're full of energy and they live for what they do. These people are a lot like the city of Oakland: striving for success and celebrating positive change, infinite possibilities and the entrepreneurial spirit."
