By Design Furniture to Host Art Exhibit Uniting Art & Design, and the Community Behind the Scenes
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) February 18, 2014 -- By Design Furniture, known for its diversity and sensibility in combining international style with worldwide expectation, is inviting the Charlotte community, its local designers and businesses, to share in a special night of inspiration and unity through art and design. By Design will be hosting an Art Exhibit with works from 6 different local artists on February 22, 2014 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. at their South End location (2130 South Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina), with the simple purpose of bringing everyone together through art, conversation and laughter.
"We live in a wonderful, talented community and we’d like to embrace our local businesses, designers and artists through a night of fun and artistic stimulation where we can make new friends and support each other’s growth," says Robert Strong, from By Design Furniture. He continues, "We have invited 5 local artists with very diverse backgrounds and styles to participate in this event, and hope that others in the community find their work as enjoyable to discover as we have. The artists showcased at the event are: Kevin Starr, Jim Sawyer, Barbara Ruano, Abby Belmont, A.M. Stewart and Shannon N. Gilbert. They will be attending on February 22nd, and several of the pieces on display will be for sale. Their work ranges from photography, to oil painting, sculptures, industrial art and more.
