C2 Education Celebrates Grand Opening in Ellicott City with College Admissions Workshop
Ellicott City, MD (PRWEB) June 09, 2014 -- C2 Education, a premier tutoring and test prep provider, will celebrate the Grand Opening of a new learning center in Ellicott City on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from noon until 2 p.m. C2 Education’s new Ellicott City tutoring center shares a building with Long & Foster Realtors, located on Baltimore National Pike across from St. John’s Plaza. Grand Opening events will include a workshop called “Getting Into Your Dream College,” which will help students and parents learn about the intricacies of the college admission process and the traits that colleges look for in an applicant.
The workshop, which is open to all local students, parents, and educators, will be presented by one of C2 Education’s most experienced academic advisors, Benjamin Yun. Yun will focus on strategies for time management, goal setting, organization, and other traits necessary for success on the road to college. The presentation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
The new C2 Education center will provide local students and their families with access to a wide range of fully personalized academic programs, including subject tutoring, SAT preparation, ACT preparation and college admission counseling. Families who attend the Grand Opening events for the new Ellicott City tutoring center will be able to explore the program options at C2 Ellicott City with a free academic assessment and consultation (a $120 value) and a savings voucher for up to $1,000 off services at the new location.
During the Grand Opening events, students and parents will have the opportunity to meet with members of C2 Education’s academic advising team, including Ellicott City Program Director Rachel Lee, the primary academic advisor for the Ellicott City tutoring center. Lee holds a degree from the University of Maryland at College Park before joining C2 Education. In her time with C2, Lee has gained a great deal of experience guiding students to academic success. She looks forward to helping local students meet their academic goals and match their skills and interests to future academic and life successes.
