C3 targets legacy switch owners in 2014 roadshow
(PRWEB UK) 27 November 2013 -- The road show will give companies a more in depth look at the options available to them, as well as learn from C3 reference sites that have already migrated to IP.
Telecoms teams up and down the country are busy considering the options for their legacy platforms as they reach end-of-life and, in many cases, end of support. The Siemens ISDX, for example, reaches end of life in 2017 when Siemens, as original manufacturer, will withdraw support on the kit. In many cases the ISDX, whilst over 20 years old, is still operating and functioning well, which makes it hard for organisations to push on with the move to IP given the cost and potential disruption to their voice infrastructure. At the same time, the pressure is on organisations to future-proof their infrastructure so it supports multichannel interactions, conferencing and collaboration throughout the enterprise.
“C3 has helped many large enterprises make the IP migration,” said sales and marketing director, John Wood. “We take a very customer-centric approach to migration which gives our customers control over costs, as well as the future-flexibility to adapt the platform to suit their unique requirements.”
This is where C3 comes in. C3’s solutions are all TDM and SIP compliant so leading-edge unified communication technology can be deployed at any point in the migration pathway, helping organisations to benefit from new technology as well as extend the life of existing systems.
