Cabot® Creamery Cooperative Makes Pairing Wines and Cheeses Easy With Launch of Latest Infographic
Montpelier, Vermont (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- Cabot Creamery has launched the cheese maker’s latest infographic, “The Perfect Pair – Irresistible Wine and Cheese Pairings” today, in an effort to definitively answer the age old question – “which cheese goes best with which wine?”
Cabot Creamery, best known as makers of “the world’s best cheddar,” has created the pairings infographic in support of its wine and cheese pairing resource page that was launched last year on Cabot’s website. The informative guide covers everything from tasting to swirling, and helps consumers of all levels of cheese and wine expertise make educated pairing selections for a wide range of cheeses and wines.
The launch of the new page comprehensively compiles information on various types of wines and pairs them with an array of cheeses, demonstrating Cabot’s desire to help people enjoy the finer flavors in life. All of the paired cheeses in the infographic are available from Cabot’s extensive product line.
Cabot’s newest pairings infographic is quite thorough, not only covering a large spectrum of wines and cheeses but also including in-depth descriptions of the characteristics of each type of wine, with helpful explanations of why the flavor combinations work well together.
For example, if drinking a merlot, Cabot recommends Garlic & Herb cheddar, reasoning that merlot has a dry fruitiness that pairs perfectly with sharp, tangy cheeses. On the other hand, if drinking a chardonnay, Cabot recommends a Mild cheddar or Colby Jack cheese, explaining that crisp fruity wines bring out the creaminess of mild cheeses.
Cabot also features many other “pairing resource” pages on their site. These include beer & cheddar, apple & cheddar, and most recently grilled cheese & wine pairings.
