Calamari Day at Pescatore Palace Restaurant
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 27, 2014 -- Chef/Owner Vito Barbanente’s award-winning culinary talents are diverse and creative. He is one of the first (if not the first) chefs who introduced Calamari to the Chicago land market, over 38 years ago.
Now at Pescatore, chef Vito offers “Calamari Day” (every Friday) with 14 different calamari dishes for every palate.
Why 14, one might ask? Maybe because “The Piano Sonata No.14,” also known as Moonlight Sonata, is one of the most famous piano sonatas composed by Ludwig Van Beethoven? As a great music lover and a great personal friend of Andrea Bocelli who loves Pescatore, chef Vito wanted for his guests to try 14 different ways of Calamari “music”.
Pescatore means Italian Fisherman, and no guest will be disappointed with seafood selection at Pescatore restaurant. Fresh shrimp, oysters, mussels, clams, calamari, just to name a few, are all fresh on the menu every day. For 38 years and counting, everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order at Pescatore. Quality ingredients and overall perfection in service and presentation sets Pescatore apart as an ideal place to entertain clients and friends alike.
“Our mission is to provide good and healthy fresh foods. If the guest walks away unhappy about the food or service we’ve failed,” says Vito. “At Pescatore, as in Italy, we believe the act of dining should be pleasurable. The meal is not rushed and every course works together like a symphony.” …Or like Piano Sonata No. 14.
If hundreds of reviews are any indication, Vito’s guests walk away quite satisfied and they promise to return again. Pescatore has received rave reviews on the menu and service. One guest writes: “I’ve closed on many business deals over lunch at Pescatore. The fried and grilled calamari are always fresh and flavorful and great to share. I love that I can pair a smooth glass of wine with my meal or choose from one of their imported selection of beers. Pescatore keeps me coming back for more.”
Now everyone is invited to celebrate any special occasion at Pescatore in their intimate private dining room. Guests can set the menu, set the price and have their own server and their preferred music playing to make it a romantic experience.
Located at 3400 N. River Road, Franklin Park IL. 60131. Pescatore is open for lunch and dinner. For reservations, please call 847.678.0895.
