Call for Papers and Training Now Open for ShowMeCon 2016
Saint Louis, MO (PRWEB) January 09, 2016 -- Parameter Security is hosting its fourth annual ShowMeCon and is seeking additional industry experts and hackers to showcase their skills and knowledge at this ever-growing event. Speakers and instructors are encouraged to submit their talks and training classes for consideration.
Possible topics for speakers include, but are not limited to, the following: Powershell; web app security; secure programming; Internet of Things; patch management; security programs and policies; regulatory requirements; physical security; data loss; social engineering; E-commerce; SCADA; etc. All submissions for papers should include: talk title, abstract, speaker bio and contact information.
Areas of interest for training opportunities include: mobile security; secure programming; incident response; advance exploitation; and network defense – to name a few. When submitting please provide: course length, description, syllabus, student prerequisites and recommendations, tools and cost required for course (books, software), hardware requirements and instructor biography/CV. Student testimonials are encouraged.
Selected speakers and trainers will receive roundtrip airfare and hotel; access to all aspects of the conference as well as after hour events and parties; invitation to the VIP/Speakers R&R outing; as well as media opportunities.

ShowMeCon will be held on June 13 and 14, 2016 at the Ameristar Casino and Resort located in St. Louis, Missouri. Pre-conference training will take place June 8 – 12, 2016. Last year, over 600 people attended ShowMeCon. This year’s anticipated number of participants is over 800.
