Call for Symposia for Entomology 2014
(PRWEB) December 16, 2013 -- The Entomological Society of America (ESA) is calling for symposia ideas for Entomology 2014, the society's 62nd Annual Meeting to be held in Portland, Oregon, November 16-19, 2014.
Like the recently held Entomology 2013, which was attended by nearly 3,500 people, Entomology 2014 will offer valuable opportunities for entomologists and others in related fields to present their research to a worldwide audience and to establish important connections with others in the science.
Submissions for Program Symposia should be broad in scope and, where possible, reflect the ESA President’s meeting theme for this year, which is "Grand Challenges Beyond Our Horizons." If a symposium is not selected as a Program symposium, it will be considered for a Section or Member Symposium or for an Organized Meeting. Member symposia may cover a wide range of topics and subject matter and may be more narrowly focused than Program Symposia.
Symposia organizers are invited to choose from three styles of symposia: oral (traditional), posters (only), or a hybrid poster and oral session.
The deadline to submit Program Symposia is January 31, 2014, and the deadline for all other symposia is February 28, 2014.
