Callens Insurance Group Launches Community Charity Event to Provide Winter Clothing for Underprivileged Families
Tyler, TX (PRWEB) October 11, 2016 -- Callens Insurance Group, a Texas-based insurance and financial consultation agency with offices that serve communities in and around Smith County, is embarking on a charity drive that promises to benefit the PATH organization as they undertake their annual Coats For Kids program.
Since 1984, the PATH organization (People Attempting to Help) has been dedicated to empowering and restoring hope to eastern Texas residents facing financial hardship. The Coats For Kids program is a yearly drive to collect warm jackets from donors and distribute them to children from families in the region unable to afford seasonal clothing.
“We are long-time supporters of the Coats For Kids program, and we’re excited to assist the PATH organization by pitching in and doing our part to help end the effects of poverty in our community,” says Jeff Callens, owner and acting manager of Callens Insurance Group.
By establishing an online social media presence and launching an email update bulletin aimed at local civic leaders, the Callens Insurance team is drawing in support for the Coats For Kids drive from families throughout the region.
