CallTower to Host The New Skype for Business
South Jordan, Utah (PRWEB) April 27, 2015 -- CallTower, the leader in cloud-based enterprise-class unified communication solutions, is announcing their partnership with Microsoft in hosting Skype for Business. Skype for Business brings together the well-loved, familiar experience of Skype, with the enterprise security, compliance and control of Lync.
CallTower was recently invited to Microsoft’s Redmond, Washington campus as one of the few “voice experts” to participate in a prelaunch meeting about Skype for Business.
“CallTower is continuing to stay on the forefront of the upcoming release of Skype for Business,” said CallTower’s CEO and President, Bret England, “We returned from a week of Elite Partner training on the new product, where we were able to get hands-on experience and direct access to the Microsoft Skype for Business engineers. We are excited for this new iteration of the Lync product line.”
Microsoft has rolled out a Skype for Business update and CallTower will be offering customers the new user interface starting in early May 2015. Customers will recognize all of the features they already use with Lync 2013 but in a fresh new interface with simplified controls and some great new additions. This new look will provide that familiar Skype experience and allow for easier adoption for new users.
All businesses need reliable and connected communication tools: whether customers, employees, shareholders or vendors, communicating the right information to the proper person at the best time is essential to running your business systems. With Microsoft integrating Lync with Skype for Businesses and CallTower providing voice enabled (PSTN replacement) Skype for Business, your business has the ability to manage universal communication with constituents with mobile integrations, conference capability, video conferencing and work collaboration.
With full integration with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft's cloud based services, using Skype for Business for your universal communication needs will give you the ability to collaborate across geographic boundaries. This is essential for doing business well and communicating to all your constituents.
With the best of Lync, and the best of Skype, CallTower believes that Skype for Business will again transform the way people communicate.
