Calpont Announces InfiniDB Innovation Challenge

Entrants have the opportunity to show off their work to peers, and compete for the bragging rights as an “InfiniDB Innovator of the Year.” Calpont will offer prizes to the winners that include a full conference pass to Strata Santa Clara, February 11-13, 2014, an Apple iPad, or $50 American Express gift cards. Submissions will be accepted thru December 30, 2013 and winners will be notified by January 15, 2014.
The contest supports the spirit of the recent company move towards an open source GPLv2 license. The new licensing terms give data scientists, developers and DBAs a new way to experience how powerful Calpont’s column-oriented data platforms are for unlocking Big Data analytics. The entry and submission process is relatively simple.
