Calvary Houston Launches New Hurricane Disaster Relief Website
HOUSTON (PRWEB) December 12, 2017 -- Calvary Houston, a church that has helped to meet the needs of numerous people in the Friendswood in the wake of the historical Hurricane Harvey, has just launched a brand-new website for offering up-to-date, ongoing information specifically about its disaster relief efforts: http://calvaryhoustonrelief.com/.
Through its large-scale disaster relief efforts, Calvary Houston has been able to prepare and serve more than 100,000 meals since Hurricane Harvey’s flooding. The church has also offered supplies as well as food to more than a thousand families through its food pantry. Several organizations have donated supplies and food to the church to help it to bless the community, including H-E-B, 24 Hour Fitness, Subway, Schlotzsky’s, and Chick-fil-A. The ministry’s 700 volunteers have been instrumental in the post-hurricane recovery efforts as well.
In addition to having a new disaster relief website, Calvary Houston has three ways in which you and fellow community members can connect with it online. At the Calvary Houston’s Twitter page, you can receive regular updates and words of encouragement from the fellowship of believers in Friendswood, Texas, run by Pastor Ron Hindt.
You can find out more about the company’s vision of worshipping the Lord, winning the lost, discipline saints, and sending the equipped, as you seek news about leading organizations and industry trends at https://www.calvaryh.org/. You can also learn more about the church’s offerings, including its regular services, men’s and women’s ministries, children’s church, daycare, LifeConnect Group ministry, and several others.
For the past 26 years, Calvary Houston’s heart -- not just on Sunday morning but every day -- has been to share Christ’s love with and reach out to every individual no matter his or her color, race, national origin, religion, gender, disability status, or sexual orientation. After all, according to John 3:16 in the Bible, God had such great love for the world that He sent his only Son so that all individuals who believe will enjoy everlasting life. The church is passionate about meeting the entire Friendswood community’s spiritual and physical needs through its campus as well as its disaster relief efforts.
