Cambia Health Solutions Promotes and Expands Public Affairs and Policy Team
PORTLAND, Ore. (PRWEB) December 12, 2016 -- Cambia Health Solutions is pleased to announce leadership updates that will expand and refine the company’s work in partnering with the public sector.
Sean Robbins has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Policy, Julie Barnes to Vice President of Policy and Political Strategy, and Jennifer Danielson has moved from the role of president of Cambia’s Utah health plan to a broader corporate role as Vice President of Public Affairs and Strategic Advocacy.
Sean Robbins will oversee the newly launched department of Public Affairs and Policy, which includes Cambia’s policy development, legislative and regulatory advocacy teams, as well as Cambia Grove, the company’s health care and technology hub for entrepreneurs in Seattle, Washington. Sean’s proven leadership and expanded role will advance Cambia’s mission to create a seamless health care experience for consumers.
As Vice President of Policy and Political Strategy, Julie Barnes will lead Cambia’s policy development efforts from her Washington, D.C. office. A well-known bipartisan health policy advisor, Julie has advanced Cambia’s legislative and regulatory efforts to promote Cambia’s mission to transform health care since 2014. Julie’s strong relationships and extensive public and private experience as a lawyer, policy adviser and business consultant will support Cambia’s diverse interests in health reform, private insurance, Medicare, and federal and state regulatory issues.
Jennifer Danielson has served as Cambia’s Utah health plan President since 2012, and previously held roles within Cambia’s legal division and public policy team. As plan president of Cambia’s Utah insurance company, Jennifer led the growth of the health plan’s enrollment and maintained market-leading financial stability. In her new role as Vice President of Public Affairs and Strategic Advocacy, Jennifer will be responsible for shaping the company’s advocacy efforts and driving the success of a team of regulatory and government affairs professionals.
