Cambridge Architectural Debuts Stainless Steel Mesh Patterns at Facades+ NYC Conference with New NYC Rep Artexture+
Cambridge, MD (PRWEB) April 21, 2014 -- Cambridge Architectural, the world’s largest full-service provider of sustainable architectural mesh systems for building applications, will showcase several new stainless steel mesh patterns and design elements ideal for large building facades at the upcoming Facades+ NYC conference. Company sales executives will be joined by Warren and Greg Cirulnick of Artexture+ Inc., the new exclusive representative for Cambridge products in the New York City metropolitan area.
Cambridge’s portfolio now exceeds 75 choices in metal mesh for architects and contractors, including more than 40 patterns and multiple attachment systems suitable for exterior facades.
Artexture+ will provide comprehensive services on behalf of Cambridge to architectural, design and construction firms who specialize in exterior envelope and interior solutions. The company’s responsibilities will include project management, technical assistance, materials coordination, sampling and sales support.
“We’re excited to be working with the Cambridge team and have always been impressed with how their metal mesh products can transform facade designs and interior walls and turn them into striking works of art that often provide functional benefits as well,” said Warren Cirulnick, Artexture+ president. “But what really sets Cambridge apart is its engineering expertise and desire to take on the most technically challenging projects and see them through the entire construction cycle until installation is complete. That’s an important benefit, particularly in Manhattan where precision is required.”
Cirulnick has been in the construction business supplying high-end architectural building products for 40 years, including the last 31 with Artexture+. The company’s recent projects include: The "NEW" Museum of Art & Design on Columbus Circle, NYC (glazed terra cotta façade), The "NEW SCHOOL" on Fifth Avenue and East 14th Street (patina bronze façade), 40 Bond Street (curving glass façade), Audi Manhattan on Eleventh Avenue and West 55th Street (perforated metal and light weight concrete façade), 215 East 68th Street owned by Rudin Management (largest terra cotta re-clad worldwide utilizing over 250,000 square feet of glazed terra cotta).
“Artexture+ has deep, trusted relationships with the key decision-makers in the New York City design and construction community and will be a tremendous asset in helping Cambridge expand its footprint in a key market for our business,” said Matt Aebischer, Cambridge Architectural Managing Director. “Their knowledge, industry experience and reputation for providing attention to detail on every project will be a tremendous complement to our full-service approach to serving clients.”
At Facades NYC, the Cambridge sales team will share samples of its latest patterns and will demonstrate some of the unique capabilities of its products and services including the ability to incorporate brand etching in its facade designs and install rigid mesh using an in-tension attachment system that is offered by only a handful of manufacturers in the world.
The company’s new patterns consist of three flexible mesh designs (Alliance3, Diamond and Mid-Shade) that are ideal for large building facades because they can be made into panels that cover large surface areas. They add visual interest and often, solar shading and day-lighting capabilities. Two new choices in rigid mesh (Hashtag and Treo) can also be panelized or mounted on building exteriors and interiors.
Following Facades NYC, Cambridge patterns will be displayed at Artexture’s Midtown Showroom at 321 West 44th Street, Suite 803.
