Cambridge House of O'Fallon Affordable Assisted Living Community to Host Walkathon
Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) February 02, 2015 -- Cambridge House of O’Fallon, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting a Walkathon from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Feb. 27.
The community, which is located at 844 Cambridge Blvd. in O'Fallon, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
Walkers will start on the community’s third floor and work their way down to the front lobby as they take in all of the heart-themed apartment doors decorated by residents.
In all, attendees will walk one mile.
The Cambridge House Walkathon coincides with National Heart Health Month. Refreshments will be served during the event, and anyone who signs up for the walkathon by Feb. 16 will receive an "I Walked a Cambridge House Mile" shirt.

Cambridge House of O'Fallon is one of three Cambridge House affordable assisted living communities in the Metro East area. The other Cambridge House communities are located in Maryville and Swansea.

Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

All three Cambridge House communities are certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and are managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
