Cambridge Semantics Announces Record Results for 2014
CAMBRIDGE, Mass (PRWEB) January 21, 2015 -- Cambridge Semantics, the leading provider of smart data solutions driven by Semantic Web technology, today announced that 2014 was a record-breaking year across the board for the company.
“By expanding the capabilities of the Anzo Smart Data Platform and our Smart Data solutions, our customers were able to rapidly discover and utilize insights from diverse data which led to record growth for the company in 2014,” said Alok Prasad, president of Cambridge Semantics. “Our revenue more than doubled, our order book was up more than 150 percent, we saw 100 percent of our production customers renew licenses, and we added key employees to meet growing customer demand.”
“We see a major shift happening in the big data dialogue where customers, traditionally focused on capturing or storing data, are now asking for the ability to use diverse structured and unstructured, internal and external data seamlessly across the entire organization in a fast, flexible and low-cost manner that adheres to central IT and governance needs, “ said Prasad.
“Our success is a clear indicator of the growing momentum in the market and leaves us well-positioned in 2015 as we see an acceleration of the big data imperative to leverage business user terms and models to manage diverse data for business advantage,” Prasad said.
Cambridge Semantics strengthened its Anzo Smart Data Platform via an expanded partner ecosystem to help end-users better link, integrate and analyze big data at scale. The solutions from the following partners provide additional capabilities that have been integrated into the platform:
• Cambridge Intelligence – A combined data graphing tool that delivers new clarity to big data analytics and enables business analysts and IT professionals to gain new “big picture” business insights from their big data queries on diverse data.
• SPARQL City – Providers of a high-performance scalable Hadoop-based graph database infrastructure.
In mid-2014, Cambridge Semantics also launched several new solutions and a major new product – its Anzo Smart Data Integration (ASDI) software, to help enterprises rapidly understand and integrate information assets, especially when on-boarding new customers, partners and data.
