CamFi Launches First Wireless DSLR Controller for Android TV
ZHUHAI, GUANGDONG (PRWEB) December 29, 2015 -- The CamFi wireless DSLR controller launched this month, offering the first wireless DSLR controller ever for Android TV, the company announced. CamFi functions as a remote control for digital single lens reflex cameras (DSLRs) using an iPhone, Android phone, tablet, PC or Mac via Wi-Fi. CamFi can also transmit the camera photos to these devices as they are taken.
“Our goal with CamFi is to save you from awkward poses and dangerous places,” said Ma Qiang, Founder of CamFi Limited. “For instance, if you are a reporter in a wartime setting, you will not want to put your head in the line of fire. With our device, you don’t have to – but you’ll still get amazing photos.
CamFi came into existence after the company got feedback from professional photographers on what they would want in their ideal wireless camera transmitter. Photographers want to check to see if their photos are good the instant they are taken, regardless of where the camera is positioned. CamFi uses an iPad or a TV to show the captured photos. It is easy to check if the focus is OK.
Users of CamFi can save the photos from the DSLR to the computer as they are taken. They can also use the device to share photos in the DSLR to Twitter and Facebook or show to the client immediately as they are taken. The device features a transmit function that is easier and faster than the competition to send the photos to the client's devices, such as Android TV, PC or MacBook. As the first wireless camera controller that supports Android TV, CamFi enables the user to use low cost devices, such as the Amazon Fire TV stick ($39.99) to show the photos.
