CampusEAI Consortium Accepting Second Round of 2015 Grant Applications
Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) March 03, 2015 -- CampusEAI Consortium, an association of more than 2,000 higher education institutions devoted to helping members improve enrollment, retention, and IT services, today announced the opening of its second round of grants for 2015. The current round of grants offers qualifying institutions the opportunity to upgrade critical technology infrastructure, such as enterprise portals, web content management systems, mobile applications, single sign-on, help desk solutions, desktop-as-a-service, migration to Office 365®, and more. Colleges and universities interested in applying for a grant should visit the CampusEAI Consortium website. Applications for the current round of grants are due by April 24, 2015. The CampusEAI Grant Program has awarded more than $6 million to over 200 colleges and universities during the past 12 years.
CampusEAI Consortium Executive Director Anjli Jain created the Grant Program in 2003 after she witnessed a disturbing trend in higher education: Information technology budgets were decreasing even as student and staff demands for new technologies were increasing exponentially. In addition to the financial benefits, recipients of these grants have built relationships with other member institutions, creating strategies to increase student retention, improve their IT offerings and support for all end users, and migrate away from costly-to-maintain, outdated solutions.
