Canadian BMW Dealership Grows Greener with GSky Living Green Walls

This modern-day plant feature overlooks the display area at an impressive height of 22-feet tall. Bringing in fresh air and potted plants, the towering GSky Green Wall breathes life into the new showroom with live greenery.
The showroom extension will serve as the display stage for a mix of the dealership’s line of upcoming BMW electric cars and hybrid vehicles. Based on a green-driven theme, GSky was chosen to support this vision by transforming the space into a nature-inspired showroom of outdoor characteristics.
Debbie Kotalic, GSky’s Director of Horticultural Design is the artist that designed the stunning living wall, using a unique palette of 1590 four-inch potted plants such as: Heart Leaf Philodendron, Neon Pothos, White Butterfly Nephthytis, Pink Nephthytis, Silver Satin Pothos, Burgundy Rubber Plant, Golden Pothos. The verdant Green Wall has an interesting abstract design that swirls and rolls off into the distance.

Aside from being visually stunning, this impressively tall Green Wall takes Auto West BMW’s commitment to sustainability to a new height – literally and figuratively. Recently awarded the title of “The Most Sustainable BMW Dealership in the World” at the prestigious BMW Sales Excellence Award Ceremony in Munich, Auto West BMW has invested in many green initiatives including a green rooftop, a honeybee apiary, solar panels, geothermal heating/cooling technology, a water recycling program and now an eco-friendly GSky Versa Green Wall. The Green Wall is one of the dealership’s latest efforts to continue this commitment to green initiatives and promoting environmental awareness.
The new Green Wall, located on the west wall of an open glass-panel room, utilizes GSky’s long-lasting and highly user-friendly Versa Wall System, designed for interior wall applications and is one of a kind in the industry.
