Canadian Oilfield Service & Supply Database Unveils New Design
Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) September 22, 2014 -- The Canadian Oilfield Service & Supply Database (COSSD) has unveiled a new look and improved search capabilities for its website, cossd.com.
The redesign has made it easier to sort businesses serving the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin by certifications, prequalification systems, location, industry category or company name. Companies listed have the option to include videos and product catalogues on their individual detail page. In addition to businesses specific to the energy industry, users can also search for, compare, and connect with hotels, communications or financial services companies.
“A modern look and increased convenience for users is what we were going for with this refresh,” says Kevin Springer, COSSD Sales Manager. “Our typical user is very unique in that their job requires them to be intensely mobile yet still have information at their fingertips. They may be sitting at their desk in downtown Calgary one day and out in the field in High Level the next. That’s why we’ve created multiple easy access points for the COSSD product. It ensures that our users can find the business that they want from any location that their job takes them to.”
The COSSD is available via the website, the mobile app, the Garmin GPS download and as a printed book that is recommended for users in remote areas with poor Internet connectivity. All versions are available to users free of charge (shipping is extra for the book) and can be ordered or downloaded from cossd.com.
The COSSD has been a tool for professionals in the Canadian oilpatch for over 34 years. It currently includes over 13,000 listings in more than 1,200 oilfield and related categories. Branding for the COSSD has always featured a distinctive yellow colour. The COSSD is a product of JuneWarren-Nickle’s Energy Group, a Canadian publishing house.
