Canales Family Agency Launches Charity Campaign for Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County
Plano, TX (PRWEB) May 10, 2016 -- The Canales Family Agency’s new community involvement program, which serves families of the greater Dallas/Fort Worth metro area from offices in Plano, has teamed up with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County in an effort to provide safety, healing and justice for the community’s abused and neglected children. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County believes that every child deserves the chance to grow up happy and healthy, free from abuse and neglect. The unfortunate reality is that so many instead inhabit a world of fear and uncertainty. Working collaboratively with law enforcement and Child Protective Services and utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach to facilitate the investigation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse, The Center brings all services to abused and neglected children under one roof in order to minimize additional trauma. Envisioning a day where the community is free of child abuse, The Center provides vital services to over 3,300 kids and non-offending family members each year, at no charge and with no waiting list, for as long as their help is needed.
