CanAm Enterprises Appoints Abhinav Lohia as Vice President, India & The Middle East

Last month, CanAm announced its plan to open offices in India, as demand for EB-5 visas there has increased over the past few years.
Lohia comes to CanAm with a wealth of experience within the immigration industry. He is a dual qualified attorney licensed to practice law in the State of New York and the Republic of India. He spent the last four years at Davies & Associates, one of the leading full-service immigration and business law firms headquartered in New York with offices around the world. At Davies & Associates, Lohia was responsible for developing the firm’s investor and business visa practice in India and Southeast Asia. Lohia supervised a team of attorneys and paralegals in assisting clients to make qualified investments in the United States for the purposes of obtaining Employment-Based Fifth-Preference Visas (EB-5 Visa). Prior to joining Davies & Associates, Lohia was a litigator in India, representing individual and corporate clients at all tiers of Indian Judiciary including the Supreme Court of India.
Lohia has successfully assisted Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi investors and businesses of every size establish and expand their presence in the United States. His experience with Indian clients spans every major metropolitan market in India, including Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh and Jaipur.
