Cane Bay Partners VI, LLLP’s David Johnson Donates $25,000 to Juan F. Luis Hospital – Second $25,000 slated for December 2015
Christiansted, USVI (PRWEB) July 16, 2015 -- In December 2014, David Johnson, Co-CEO of Cane Bay Partners VI, LLLP donated $25,000 to aid in the renovation of the labor and delivery section of St. Croix’s Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital & Medical Center.
The hospital has been in need of repairs for some time, and Johnson was delighted to be able to express his continuing dedication to the people of the US Virgin Islands through his contribution to the improvement of the hospital.
Johnson has pledged to make a second $25,000 donation to the Juan F. Luis Hospital in December 2015. “I’m glad to see that my donation will benefit the labor and delivery area of the Hospital and know that it will benefit every Crucian who gives birth at JFL.”
Dr. Kendall Griffith, CEO of the Juan F. Luis hospital, was very grateful for Johnson’s “generosity and community stewardship,” and noted that the money would have a positive and personal impact on the people of the Virgin Islands. He expressed his gratitude in this statement from the hospital’s press release.
“The Women and Children’s Center is particularly special to all of us, as it is a place of new life, hopes and dreams. It is an area for families to bond and for our medical and nursing staff to assist new mothers and young infants during a very important time. We are delighted to receive this donation and express our sincere thanks to David Johnson for helping to impact young families for the better.”
The Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center has been serving the residents of St. Croix for over thirty years. It offers a wide range of services, to include emergency care, pediatric care, surgical services and psychiatric medicine. It also boasts the Virgin Islands Cardiac Center, the only medical center specializing in cardiovascular care in the United States Virgin Islands.
