Canna Advisors Managing Partner Jay Czarkowski Will Deliver Keynote Speech at Industry Symposium on March 18
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) March 19, 2015 -- Canna Advisors of Boulder, CO, is pleased to announce that managing partner Jay Czarkowski has been chosen as a co-speaker for a closing keynote speech at the Cultivation Management Symposium, a major cannabis industry conference.
Along with Stephen Keen, Vice President of Research and Development at Surna, Inc., Czarkowski will address attendees of the Cultivation Management Symposium on cultivation and business-related topics. The event is taking place March 16 to 18, 2015, in Seattle, WA, and is hosted by the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA), of which Czarkowski is a founding member.
Surna, Inc. engineers, develops, and manufactures equipment used in cannabis cultivation and production. Canna Advisors is authorized to sell their systems and was one of the first businesses to enroll in their affiliate program.
The National Cannabis Industry Association was established in 2010 and has frequently asked Czarkowski to give speeches on cultivation-focused solutions and business best practices, which is what this year's keynote speech will also touch on.
The Cultivation Management Symposium is the latest of many educational and professional events that the National Cannabis Industry Association puts together for the industry, Czarkowski explained.
"This speaking honor gives us an opportunity to let people know about our extensive knowledge in the cannabis industry and to share our experiences with people who are just starting," said Czarkowski when interviewed by phone.
According to Czarkowski, the National Cannabis Industry Association is the only national trade association advancing the interests of the legitimate and responsible cannabis industry.
"Our industry supports tens of thousands of jobs, tens of millions in tax revenue, and billions in economic activity in the United States," he said. "NCIA is leading the unified and coordinated campaign to ensure this emerging sector is treated fairly under federal law."
Czarkowski looks forward to seeing more members of the cannabis industry at the Cultivation Management Symposium and other National Cannabis Industry Association events.
"With the industry seeing so many conferences popping up all over the country, the NCIA consistently produces very professional, well organized events that are highly valued for anyone looking to get into the business," he explained. "This is a great way for people who are already in the industry to make their company more successful, as well as for those interested in starting a business and getting involved in best practices."

As a managing partner of Canna Advisors, Czarkowski helps the firm focus on the design, build, and start-up operations of medical cannabis facilities nationally.
Czarkowski became a pioneer in the medical cannabis industry in 2009 when he and his wife and business partner, Diane Czarkowski founded Boulder Kind Care. His background, he explained, gives him a keen advantage in understanding regulation, building processes and operations.
Boulder Kind Care quickly became one of the most successful medical cannabis businesses in Colorado, mostly due to its consistent ability to produce high quality pharmaceutical-grade cannabis.
In the spring of 2012, the Czarkowskis sold their business to focus on business consulting and advocacy in the cannabis industry. Canna Advisors was then established in early 2013.
