Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
Building on the legacy of Canon’s powerful 5D series DSLRs, the EOS 5D Mark IV embodies Canon’s commitment to imaging excellence, combining incredible image quality, performance and versatility. Its 30.4MP CMOS sensor allows for a significant increase in possible image resolution, making it a camera wedding and portrait photographers, as well as nature and landscape shooters will love. The ability to capture brilliantly crisp 4K video with ease will also make it a top choice for creative videographers.
The first EOS 5 series with built-in Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS, the Canon Mark IV features a touch-sensitive 3.2-inch LCD monitor that has been upgraded to 1.62 million dots, while Dual-Pixel RAW captures one normal RAW file and one Dual-Pixel Pixel RAW file simultaneously. In addition, Canon’s Digital Photo Professional lends three new post processing tricks to photographers, including flare reduction and ghosting, repositioning of the foreground bokeh, and image micro-adjustment, which allows for fine-tuning of sharpness and resolution.
Other notable features include: both CF and SD/SDHC/SDXC card slots as well as the ability to assign multiple file formats shot simultaneously to different cards; 150,000-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor with 252 zone metering including evaluative, partial and spot; three custom exposure modes; EV compensation to +/- 5 stops in manual; shutter speed range of 30-1/8000 sec with an X-sync of 1/200 sec; flash exposure compensation to +/- 3 stops and external flash control settings.
Compatible with Canon’s line of full-frame EF lenses and all E-TTL-II Autoflash EX-series Speedlight flashes, the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is still comprised of the same magnesium alloy body, intelligent viewfinder, HDR and multiple exposure support found in its predecessor.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV will be available from Adorama, body only, for 3,499.00 USD. It is also available in a kit with the Canon 24-105mm f/4 IS USM lens for 4,599.00 USD, or with the 24-70mm f/2.8 IS USM lens for 4,399.00 USD.
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM Lens
Widely regarded by professionals as their standard go-to lens, the next generation Canon EF 24-105mm lens features improved peripheral brightness and air sphere coating designed to reduce flare and ghosting. Highly resistant to dust and water, the front and rear elements also have a fluorine coating to reduce smears and fingerprints, allowing for use even in undesirable conditions. Additionally, faster and more accurate autofocus algorithms (full-time manual focus also available) work together with image stabilization effective at up to four stops of shake correction to help artists capture their shot.
The Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM will be available from Adorama for 1,099.00.
Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM Lens
Ideal for shooting architecture, landscape and sports, this third-generation iteration of ultra-wide Canon zoom lens features improvements in outer corner sharpness as well as SWC subwavelength coating and air sphere coating to significantly reduce flare and ghosting, while fluorine-coated front and rear elements reduce smears and fingerprints. Recalibrated algorithms work together with high-speed CPU and inner focusing ring USM for faster, more accurate autofocusing (full-time manual focus also available).
The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 III USM lens will be available from Adorama for 2,199.00 USD.
Wi-Fi Adapter W-E1
An accessory designed to fit in the SD card slot, the Canon Wi-Fi Adapter W-E1 brings internet connectivity to some of Canon’s most popular DSLRs, including the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR DSLRs. With the add-on, users can easily transfer images and videos (from the EOS 7D Mark II) in MP4 format to a compatible mobile device, as well as remotely take pictures and set still photo camera settings directly from said mobile device.
