Cap-Op Energy to Sponsor Hydraulic Fracturing Event, Announce DEEPP – Water Initiative
Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Cap-Op Energy, a leader in the field of carbon offset quantification technology, is sponsoring an event held at the Calgary Petroleum Club in Calgary, Alberta on May 29, 2014 called Hydraulic Fracturing – An Environmental Perspective. The event will cover the complexities of hydraulic fracturing in Alberta and regulatory framework, and will feature research project outcomes relating to water impacts and technologies, as well as air and greenhouse gas (GHG) impacts.
Hydraulic Fracturing – An Environmental Perspective will focus on the process of hydraulic fracturing as it specifically relates to production in Western Canada, including management strategies and initiatives, as well as environmental issues resulting from the production process. There will be presentations throughout the day, and there will be opportunities for research posters, technology demonstrations, and additional case studies.
Cap-Op will be announcing their new software initiative, which is focused on helping companies in Western Canada comply with their reporting requirements in Alberta and British Columbia.
