Cardno Appoints New US-Based Executives to Leadership Team – Key to Strategic Review Implementation
Lone Tree, Colo. (PRWEB) December 02, 2015 -- ASX200 professional infrastructure and environmental services consultancy, Cardno Limited today announced two new US-based appointments to its Executive Leadership Team have been made. These appointments are key to the implementation of the Strategic Review released in October.
Susan Reisbord was appointed in late September to the newly created role of General Manager - Strategic Business Development. Mark Swatek was appointed to the position of Acting General Manager – Americas in October and became General Manager – Americas as of 1 December 2015.
Reporting to Cardno’s CEO and Managing Director Richard Wankmuller, Ms. Reisbord is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is responsible for working with our regional leadership teams around the globe to implement the Strategic Review, grow the business, and strengthen client relationships. She will implement world class business development tools and a strong business planning process so that we can get our platform right and focus investments in the right places. Ms. Reisbord’s experience spans 30 years in the consulting engineering and construction industry. Previously she was a senior executive with GHD and MWH Global in North America. Her strategic leadership and business development skills were honed as a front-line Client Service Manager for clients such as the City of New York and General Electric Company.
Also reporting to the CEO and Managing Director, Mr. Swatek is based in Denver, Colorado and is responsible for leading Cardno’s operations across the Americas region.
A seasoned management professional with more than 40 years’ international experience in infrastructure development, construction and operations, Mr. Swatek is the former CEO, President and Chairman of Southwest Water Company and previously served as President of MWH Global’s Constructors and Americas Business Units. In line with Cardno’s strong commitment to safety, he was instrumental in developing award winning safety programs at both companies. Mr. Swatek is an expert in operational efficiencies and is working with our leadership team across the Americas Region to get our financial house in order, making the region more agile and quicker to adjust to changing market conditions.
