Cardno Welcomes Chris Mickle to Lead the Data Management Practice
Raleign North Carolina (PRWEB) August 01, 2013 -- Engineering and environmental consulting firm Cardno is pleased to welcome Environmental Database Practice Lead, Chris Mickle, to the firm. In this role, Chris will refine and augment the direction, design, and implementation of data practices, procedures, and software for the newly formed Natural Resource Management & Health Sciences Division in the United States, which includes services from Cardno ENTRIX and Cardno ChemRisk, who merged with Cardno in recent years to join their global portfolio.
Chris’ extensive expertise will contribute to the expanding Economics and Decision Sciences business line that Cardno introduced in June 2013.

Chris will lead the Environmental Data Management and Information Solutions practice, which offers clients a step-by–step process to organize, plan, and implement environmental data management systems across multiple market sectors. Under Chris’ leadership, the team will work collaboratively to develop project solutions using state-of-the-art sensing and monitoring, electronic field data collection technologies, and the latest programming and software development techniques for deploying data management and analysis frameworks.
Chris brings to the firm over 20 years of experience in information engineering and design, database management, and project management. He previously worked with CDM Smith, where he led the data management team in developing and implementing customized environmental data management systems. Chris has worked as a Resource Manager, responsible for managing operations in the air quality, environmental remediation, planning and sciences, and transportation market sectors across the US. Over the past 18 years, Chris has focus on managing and executing large environmental data management projects for federal, state, and industrial clients.
