Career Directors International Announces 2014 Winners of the TORI Resume Writing Award Competition
Melbourne, Florida (PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- Currently in its 13th year, the Toast of the Resume Industry (TORI) award competition has become a true benchmark for allowing professional resume writers, job seekers, and career coaches from around the world to view and learn from the upper echelon standard in resume writing. According to CDI President, Laura DeCarlo, “The TORIs represent a unique opportunity for resume writers to challenge themselves as well as set standards to create the ultimate networking and interview-gaining resumes. In the crowded job market today, job seekers need that critical edge to stand out and be seen.”
As in prior years, there were nine categories to enter with five nominees per category along with one first, second, and third place award in each category. The judging panel was carefully selected to represent CDI certified writers and TORI award winners. Led by CDI’s Award Director Robin Schlinger, these individuals have selected the winners from the previously announced nominees. They recognize the following individuals by category:

The 2014 winners were recognized at CDI’s 2014 Global Career Empowerment Summit on October 18, 2014 at The Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida. All winners receive award logos, certificates, and medals.
