Career Partners International Kicks Off Its 2014 Webinar Series with The Power of Executive Onboarding
Chapel Hill, North Carolina (PRWEB) July 22, 2014 -- Career Partners International recently kicked off its 2014 complimentary webinar series leading with the critical topic of executive onboarding. With over 650 registrants, industry leaders from all parts of the world united to learn more about onboarding new and transitioning existing leaders into new executive roles to accelerate individual and organizational success.
The webinar featured one of the firm’s premier clients, Jennifer Dwyer, Leadership Development Manager of BASF Corporation, who highlighted their successful approach to executive onboarding. Joining Dwyer were two experts from Career Partners International, Brian Clapp, Chief Operating Officer of CCI Consulting/Career Partners International – Philadelphia, and Joan Caruso, Managing Director of The Ayers Group/Career Partners International – New York.
Well-designed and implemented executive onboarding programs are integral to retention and the success of modern organizations. Research shared during the presentation showed that 80% of new hires decide within the first six months whether or not to stay with an organization and 25% choose to leave. Additionally, 40% of newly hired executives quit, fail or are pushed out with 18 months. In addition to providing the importance of a strategic executive onboarding approach, the webinar provided attendees with an overview of BASF’s successful executive onboarding program while allowing them to ask questions of the panelists.
Career Partners International is no stranger to the topics discussed in the webinar, as its recent global expansion required the onboarding of many new leaders in the organization. With new offices in Quebec City and New Orleans, Francois Lefebvre of Career Partners International – Quebec City and Robert Spencer of Career Partners International – Louisiana joined the organization.
“Onboarding, especially at the executive and leadership levels, is integral to the individual’s success as well as the success of the organization,” said David P. Hemmer, President and CEO of Career Partners International. “It’s way too costly to both the company and the individual to leave such a critical element to chance.”
Focusing on different aspects of executive coaching, outplacement and other areas of talent management, the webinar series provided by Career Partners International enhances organizational performance for companies and drives innovation in the industry. The webinars are offered throughout the year, and more information on previous and upcoming webinars can be found at http://www.cpiworld.com/knowledge-center/webinars.
