Career Step Welcomes Merced College as Academic Partner

Merced College is a community college in Merced, California, offering more than 50 certificate programs and more than 80 associate degree programs. Four of Career Step’s programs—Professional Medical Coding and Billing with PCS, Medical Transcription and Editing, Computer Technician, and Pharmacy Technician—will join the Community Services program to enhance their professional development training options geared toward those eligible for workforce development services.

Career Step has partnered with higher educational institutions to provide students with training in growing industries for more than a decade. The schools usually partner with Career Step to offer these training programs through their community education departments, helping students quickly start new careers.
