CarePlus Announces Schedule for 2014-2015 CADC/LCADC Training Courses
Paramus, New Jersey (PRWEB) July 09, 2014 -- Care Plus NJ, Inc. (CarePlus) is pleased to announce the 2014-2015 schedule for New Jersey CADC/LCADC training courses. The courses are designed for individuals interested in becoming certified or licensed alcohol and drug counselors.
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADC) or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LCADC) help individuals recover from addiction by providing treatment, support, and motivation towards sobriety. As part of the certification, individuals are required to participate in the coursework if they have not had the equivalent training as part of a master’s program.
The training courses will run from September 2014 to July 2015 with CarePlus offering five domains, each containing nine sessions. Courses are held on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the CarePlus Fair Lawn facility.
Individuals with a high school, associates, or bachelor’s degree can enroll in the full course load to satisfy the required core trainings. Those with a master’s degree can apply to The Certification Board to determine which CADC/LCADC coursework they will need to meet the educational requirements.
CarePlus is offering courses needed for the CADC/LCADC training at their Fair Lawn location at 17-07 Romaine Street, Fair Lawn, NJ. Courses are offered at $60 per class, or at the reduced rate of $50 per class when registering a full domain at once. For more information or to register click here.
