CareVoyant, a Leading Developer of Software Solutions for Healthcare Providers, Releases First Home Care App for Windows 8
Schaumburg, IL (PRWEB) August 08, 2013 -- CareVoyant, Inc, a leading developer of software solutions for healthcare providers launched a new app, “CV Intuitive for Home Care," available now on the Microsoft® Windows Store. This is the first native Windows 8® app specific to home care, and is the first in a line of forthcoming metro-style apps to be released by CareVoyant. CV Intuitive combines the tools and features needed by one of the fastest growing segments in healthcare, allowing home care clinicians to perform their work “connected” in patient homes on a friendly and easy-to-use Windows 8 platform.

CareVoyant developed CV Intuitive for Home Care over the course of the past year, with the help of Microsoft, culminating in a successful launch process in July. Built in a Windows 8 style (formerly known as “Metro”), a demo version of the app may be downloaded online at the Windows Store.

While the demo version is available now, the official product launch will be at the CareVoyant User Group Conference in October. Versions of a CareVoyant Windows app for Outpatient Clinics and Long Term Care facilities will follow over the course of the next year.

While Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS dominate the current smartphone and tablet marketplace, Windows 8 has been well received as a viable solution for enterprise organizations who want tighter security and integration with their current network environments. CV Intuitive has been tested on Microsoft’s Surface devices, as well as various Lenovo devices. Additionally, many innovative hardware designs will hit the market in the months ahead, opening up even more possibilities.
