Carmen’s Italian Ice and Café Announces Upcoming January Events
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) January 23, 2014 -- Carmen’s Italian Ice and Café announces upcoming January Events including their 12th annual “Pay the Price of the Weather” and their 2nd Annual “Super Bowl Art Contest”. The homemade gourmet Italian Ice shop also recently launched a redesign of their website.
Carmen’s 12th annual “Pay the Price of the Weather” will run from January 23rd through January 25th, where prices reflect that day’s temperature. For example, if it’s 35 degrees outside, a small ice will be 35 cents, a small gelati will be $1.35, and a small fall gelati will be $2.35. If the temperature should drop below zero, Carmen’s will measure in Kelvin; at 0 degrees Kelvin ices will be free.
“We are always excited about our winter events as they really shake things up during our “off season”. Pay the Price of the Weather is always an exciting weekend as no one can predict the weather and it brings our customers in at great prices,” stated Jason Mandler, owner of Carmen’s.
From now through February 1st, Carmen’s will also be celebrating their 2nd annual “Super Bowl Art Contest”. Children can create a piece of art that has to do with the Super Bowl and received 10% off that visit. After the game, favorites will be chosen for additional prizes, the first will be a $25 gift card.
“In addition to our Super Bowl Art Contest, we will also be offering a Super Bowl promotion. We are running our “Quarterback Special”, where customers can purchase a quart of ice for $3 and a quart of custard for $5 for the big game,” continued Mandler.
The homemade gourmet Italian Ice and Café also recently launched the redesign of their website. The new bright and fun design is user friendly and updated regularly.
