Carol Rothenbusch Releases New Title: Sebastian’s Birthday Fun: Days of Excitement
(PRWEB) June 28, 2015 -- Then it’s off to the Edmonton Mall, where all your friends are gathered waiting for the birthday boy to bring more excitement into their lives. First, it’s everyone into the swimming pool, where, as author Carol Rothenbusch writes:
“We went down ladders
and swam a lot.
The more we splashed
The more fun it got.”
After drying off and putting your clothes back on, your friends and relatives meet at your house, where gifts are piled up and there’s cake, ice cream and candy for everyone. At the end of the day, you’re tired, stuffed with goodies and happy. Such a great birthday to remember.
But there’s even more!
Soon Carol shows you all the photos from your exciting day, and you pick out the ones you like that show how you spent your birthday. A short time later, she sends you the poems and short stories she wrote to go along with your chosen pictures. And she has a proposition: “Sebastian, how would you like to design a book using my words and your pictures to create a lasting memory of your great birthday?”
Wow, what fun! You get to have your very own book! And it’s not long before your project is complete, with drawings of your favourite animals, whales and octopi placed carefully around the text and pictures. And maybe with a little help from your family and friends.
And you are thankful. As Carol writes (and these thoughts are as much yours as hers):
“It was a perfect day and
I had so much fun
I am so happy that you
Could join me,
Each and everyone.”
Sebastian’s Birthday Fun is a loving and lovely tribute to a special boy much loved by his friends and family. What a way to commemorate a special day!
