Carolina Comfort Air Recently Donated New HVAC System to Family in Need
Clayton, NC (PRWEB) March 03, 2015 -- Carolina Comfort Air recently launched its "Working Hands, Warm Hearts Community Comfort Program" by installing a complete HVAC system at no charge in the home of a deserving family.
Carolina Comfort Air selected Dwight and Linda Sorrells of Pine Level from a pool of nominees. Carolina Comfort Air's Marketing Director Aimee Sharrett explains why they chose the Sorrells, "Dwight Sorrells is a good Christian man and has been giving to his community his whole life."
Mr. Sorrells was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 1992. Since then he has also battled diabetes and bladder cancer. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Durham. He has always been an active member of his community and has continued to do what he can throughout his illnesses. Sharrett added, "Dwight lost his leg during the treatment process but is still helping people" and "his attitude is amazing."
Carolina Comfort Air is honored to give back to people like Mr. Sorrells. According to Sharrett, "We're blessed to be able to do something like this" for deserving families in the community.
Each month in 2015, Carolina Comfort Air is donating a new HVAC system worth approximately $5,000 including installation free of charge to a nominated family who lives in Carolina Comfort Air's service area. Recipients must reside in Johnston, Wayne, Harnett, Cumberland, Moore, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender or Wake counties.
Anyone can nominate a family by filling out an application available on Carolina Comfort Air's website.
