Carolina Comfort Air Recently Donates New HVAC System to Deserving Social Worker.
Clayton, NC (PRWEB) July 23, 2015 -- Carolina Comfort air recently donated a brand new HVAC system to a customer in need. As part of Carolina Comfort Air's "Working Hands, Warm Hearts Community Comfort Program", Kesia Tucker received a complete HVAC system installed at no charge.
Kesia's mother submitted the nomination on her behalf. For two years, Kesia has been without a working HVAC system in her home. While battling a chronic illness, Kesia managed to keep her job of 17 years and her home, but she could not afford the recurring repairs that her HVAC system needed. On the application, when asked to explain why the nominee is deserving of a new system, Kesia's mother wrote, "My daughter is always helping someone else. She has been a social worker for over 19 years, working with abused and neglected children and families. With all that she does for others personally and professionally, I would love to see her get something back for a change. She works hard and is so deserving of a break. The last 7 years have been hard for her, but she never gave up and always remained hopeful and optimistic."
Carolina Comfort Air's Aimee Sharrett shares that sentiment, "We chose Ms. Tucker as the recipient to give her and her daughter a Comfy home. Ms. Tucker has worked with families going through the foster care system and adoption process in the area for years. She has faced her own personal struggles yet smiles through it all and gives back with all of her heart. She’s an asset to our community, and we’re blessed that we were able to provide her with a new system."
In 2008, Kesia suffered heart failure and incurred extensive medical bills. This came just after her complications during pregnancy In 2007, and her daughter's premature birth. Her daughter is now a healthy, smart, and vibrant child. And thanks to Kesia's mother's thoughtful nomination for Carolina Comfort Air's "Working Hands, Warm Hearts Community Comfort Program", Kesia and her daughter are enjoying this hot summer in the cool comfort of their home. In a written response to Carolina Comfort Air, Kesia expressed her gratitude, "'Thank you' is truly not a enough to express my gratitude for your company's generosity. Everyone I met or talked to by phone was professional and super nice and this was just an awesome experience. I feel so blessed! THANK YOU!"
Each month in 2015, Carolina Comfort Air is donating a new HVAC system worth approximately $5,000 including installation free of charge to a nominated family who lives in Carolina Comfort Air's service area. Recipients must reside in Johnston, Wayne, Harnett, Cumberland, Moore, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender or Wake counties.
Anyone can nominate a family by filling out an application available on Carolina Comfort Air's website.
