Carrie Weston Studios Launches New Kickstarter Project: Today’s Veteran

East Northport, NY (PRWEB) April 23, 2015 -- Carrie Weston Studios, an Internationally recognized photography studio on Long Island has launched their Kickstarter campaign for Today’s Veteran—a project designed to honor today’s heroes through art.

The Studio is seeking funding to travel the continental US to take portraits of Veteran’s on-location, while documenting their piece of history for a book that will be published in late 2016.

“As a Veteran myself and with both of us at the Studio coming from a long line of military families, this project hits very close to home, ” said Carrie-Anne Gonzalez, Owner of Carrie Weston Studios. “We’re hoping that we can use our artwork and expertise as a unique way to give back to those who have served.”

The Studio is seeking Veterans of all backgrounds and experiences, from the successful entrepreneur to the recovering addict—the stories of those who have served are important roots of this nation’s history and should be told. All participating Veterans will receive a free copy of their portrait.
