Carroll Elton Humphrey’s New Book Relates Lifelong Journey of One Devoted Woman
Granbury, Texas (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Carroll Elton Humphrey offers a piercing and inspiring true-life account of a selfless woman who impacted every single acquaintance she met in her life. Titled We Never Danced, the author relates the life of his wife, Patsy Ruth Humphrey, who devoted her time for others as a steadfast disciple of God. This inspiring biography spans from their first meet until her departure from this earth.
Patsy Ruth Humphrey, was born in West Virginia and raised in Dallas, Texas, from her junior high years, graduating from Sunset High School in 1953. Patsy was respected for the unique attributes she possessed. Although she was suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for the last 32 years of her life, she was known to show love and concern for the people around her. Be it family, friends or strangers whom she met for the first time, Patsy always made a deep connection with them.
Prayer was a major part of this devout woman’s life. Whether it was private time or ministering to others, she is remembered primarily for all of her Christian outreaches especially in mentoring young women across the United States and on the island of Okinawa. Being a mother was her first priority, but she reached out and influenced so many women throughout her lifetime. In her latter days, the time she spent with medical professionals who worked with her was more than just for the medical care she received, but the prayers and mentoring she provided them. Prayer was that special gift that God gave to her, and she used that gift very well over her entire life on this earth.
Patsy passed away on January 24, 2013 at the age of 77. A prude and prayerful woman who lived her life in the service of others for the love of God, Patsy Ruth Humphrey is a person worthy of emulation. We Never Danced is a moving and incisive true-life story certain to inspire readers.
