Casey Patterson and Jake Gibb Win Back-to-Back-to-Back U.S. Beach Volleyball Events!
Cary, NC (PRWEB) July 22, 2015 -- USA Beach Volleyball duo Casey Patterson and Jake Gibb continued their impressive win streak on U.S. sand with a third straight victory this weekend at the AVP Kingston New York City Open. This victory follows recent wins at the AVP New Orleans Open in May and the FIVB St. Petersburg Grand Slam in June, along with a Fifth Place finish at the World Championships in between.
Casey and Jake have now won 5 straight AVP Tour events dating back to the 2014 season. Casey is one of the most energetic and entertaining personalities in beach volleyball today. He was the 2013 AVP Best Offensive Player and is the 2-time reigning AVP Team of the Year (2013, 2014) with Gibb. Casey’s natural charisma helps keeps the crowd energized right from the opening serve. Jake is a 2-time cancer survivor who was named the AVP Tour’s Most Valuable Player in 2014. He has represented the U.S. at both the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2012 Olympic Games.
Fellow Premier Management Group client Emily Day brought home her second career AVP Tour title after a hard fought win in 3 sets with partner Jen Kessy. Emily and Jen began their partnership in 2015 and this is only the second AVP Tour event they have competed in as partners. They previously took second place at the AVP Tour opener in New Orleans in May. In 2013, Emily was named the Most Improved Player on the AVP Tour and has continued to work her way to the top of the AVP Tour rankings this season.
