Casey’s General Stores to Present Donation from “Dog Tag” Campaign to Hope For The Warriors®
Mountain Home, AR (PRWEB) July 02, 2015 -- Throughout the month of April, Casey’s General Stores invited customers to give back to military families through their annual “Dog Tag” campaign. On Tuesday, July 7, Casey’s General Stores Chairman and CEO, Bob Myers, will present a check to Hope For The Warriors® for nearly $800,000. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.
The check presentation will take place at 10 a.m. at the top fundraising store from the campaign in Mountain Home, AR (859 Hwy 62 E, Mountain Home, AR 72653). This store raised $7,117 for military families through the campaign. Casey’s General Stores and Hope For The Warriors® will also recognize the store’s top staff fundraiser during the presentation.
Patrons of Casey’s General Stores were invited to support Hope For The Warriors® by purchasing a “Dog Tag” for $1.00 at any store location. Casey’s General Stores displayed the “Dog Tags” throughout the store, providing their customers the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment and support for the sacrifices of military families.
This is the fourth year that Casey’s General Stores has supported Hope For The Warriors® through a monthly campaign involving Casey’s General Stores employees and customers. In total, Casey’s General Stores has donated $2,348,486 to the nonprofit. The donations support programs in Clinical Health & Wellness, Sports & Recreation, Community & Military Relations, and Career Transition & Education.
