Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) January 20, 2016 -- Castle International Air Ambulance is making air medical transport more affordable. Today, the company announced it is lowering its patient transport rates for 2016. Patients will now pay 54% less per mile.
Despite Affordable Care Act legislation, the cost of medical care continues to rise. Castle International decided it was time to buck this trend and actually lower the cost of critical care medical flights. The company is able to do this by streamlining overhead costs and passing the savings on to the patient.
“While our patients will notice a lower rate for 2016, they’ll still receive critical care that exceeds industry standards,” said Castle International’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are very pleased to announce this rate reduction as the company plans to expand with offices coming to the Gulf Coast.”
