Castlewood Treatment Center to Sponsor Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness Event
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) January 27, 2014 -- Castlewood Treatment Center is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness walk. The event will be held February 1, 2014, at Pond Apple Pavilion at South County Regional Park, Boca Raton, FL.
This year marks the third annual walk, which brings together individuals, businesses, and non-profits to create awareness for eating disorders. The theme for the event is "Celebrating everyBODY" and its goal is to "raise awareness, promote education of eating disorders, and spread the message of hope and recovery."
Castlewood Treatment center is a sponsor, and will host an exhibit table at the event. Also attending the event will be a therapist representative from the Highlands, an affiliate of Castlewood, located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Representatives of Castlewood and The Highlands are excited to be a part of this year's event. CEO Nancy Albus said she is proud to support the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness.

The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2000. The Alliance uses presentations, support groups, advocacy, and legislation to educate the public about eating disorders. The Alliance also has a national phone help line, and can provide trainings and mentoring services to organizations and individuals.
