Castlewood Treatment Centers Announces Two New Regional Outreach Directors for Southern California Market
St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) December 05, 2016 -- Eating disorders are equal opportunity offenders, impacting people across ethnic, gender, and geographic lines. The goal of Castlewood Treatment Centers has always been to promote the power of recovery, and to make eating disorder treatment accessible to as many people as possible. In that spirit, Castlewood has announced two new hires, both Outreach Directors to support the Southern California eating disorder community and provide region direction for their Monarch Cove facility located in Northern California. Castlewood has enlisted Aviva Asbaghi and Renée Hartmann, who will both hold the title Director of Regional Outreach.
Both new hires bring diverse experience to their vocations, as well as passion for the field of eating disorder recovery. Asbaghi holds degrees in both Business Administration and Marriage Family Therapy, plus previous experience working in the mental health recovery sector.
“As a woman living in Southern California I can relate to the social pressures one can feel to live up to certain beauty ideals, and I love being a part of the solution rather than the problem,” said Asbaghi. “I enjoy meeting and learning about providers and other treatment centers because it helps me be a good resource and connect people to the right treatment for their needs. I feel blessed to be able to be a part of an organization that provides hope and healing.”
Asbaghi goes on to frame the important work that Castlewood provides, both at Monarch Cove and its other campuses. “I chose Castlewood because the mission is not to churn out weight-restored clients who merely look healthy to others, but to identify and address the internal wounds of those individuals and work toward a state of inner peace and wholeness.
As for Hartmann, she holds a degree in Exercise and Wellness, and much experience developing corporate wellness programs. She has spent the last several years working in the eating disorder recovery field.
“I had a sister who died of a drug overdose, and I know that things might have turned out differently if she had been given the treatment she needed,” said Hartmann. “I’m passionate about everyone receiving the treatment they need, and I’m committed to the idea that recovery is always attainable.”
Hartmann continued, “What drew me to Castlewood is their non-manualized approach to the treatment of eating disorders, which means each day they address the relevant and current issues their patients are experiencing thereby allowing the treatment team to understand how the eating disorder developed and immediately implement new coping skills.”
Both new hires will work to promote the broader mission of Castlewood within the Southern California community. More information about the efforts of Castlewood Treatment Centers can be found online at http://www.castlewoodtc.com.
