Catherine and Justine Macfee of Catherine Macfee Interior Design Present a Sophisticated Vintner's Kitchen for the 2015 Traditional Home Napa Valley Showhouse
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 30, 2015 -- Designers Catherine and Justine Macfee of Catherine Macfee Interior Design are delighted to present a charming Vintner’s Kitchen at the 2015 Traditional Home Napa Valley Showcase. The designers drew inspiration from the homeowner, winemaker Drew Neiman of Neiman Cellars, and the natural beauty of Napa Valley when crafting the kitchen for the Tudor Revival home, located at 375 Randolph Street.
Designed to reflect the winemaker’s unique lifestyle, the Vintner’s Kitchen is an inviting space with a neutral palette of black, white, golden honey wood, and rust. A hand forged metal peninsula is the kitchen’s central feature, which offers ample space for cooking, entertaining, and kitchen storage. One-of-a-kind details such as a custom hood and reclaimed wooden shelves give the space a personalized charm. The Medallion black onyx cabinetry and white Crossville elongated hexagon natural stone backsplash offer texture and depth. The kitchen is outfitted with high end appliances and accessories such as a Thermador refrigerator and a DXV sink and faucet.
Across from the range, a cozy breakfast nook includes a comfortable dining area with a reclaimed wood built-in banquette and a beadboard panelled ceiling. Whimsical touches such as a large vintage copper drum pendant and custom made pillows in shades of green adorn the space. Custom shades by Hunter Douglas dress the windows and add a finishing touch.
The butler’s pantry features a full Thermador wine refrigerator, a white DXV bar sink, a carbon bronze DXV faucet, and Medallion glass door cabinets to showcase glassware by Simon Pearce. The designers brought the original beadboard walls and ceiling to life with a fresh coat of Pratt and Lambert Mt. Vernon Green paint, a color inspired by grapevine buds. Collaborating with Crossville, the Macfees designed a graphic black and white custom Crossville tile etching backsplash for a bold pop of pattern.
With its bespoke details and warm color palette, the Vintner’s Kitchen is a sophisticated space that reflects the natural allure of Napa Valley. For more information and print or web ready images, please visit http://www.macfeedesign-2015napashowhouse.com/.
