CBD College Offers New Dental Assistant Program
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 12, 2017 -- CBD College advances its commitment to offer in-demand healthcare programs by announcing the addition of their new Dental Assistant Program. The 40 week program prepares graduates with a strong focus on hands-on training, culminating in an externship in a modern day dental office. CBD College has invested in providing an intensive environment with cutting-edge dental technology to carry out general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry with greater patient comfort and better accuracy. The first cohort is scheduled to start October 17, 2017.
Along with the college being accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), the program has also been approved by ABHES. Pending Dental Board of California program approval, graduates will receive their CPR Certification, 8 hour Infection Control Course Certificate, X-ray License, California Dental Practice Act Course Certificate, Coronal Polishing Certificate, and Pit and Fissure Sealant Certificate. The previous mentioned are all required to be completed in order to take the state board exam.
“Our instructors have real-world experience with at least 2 years working in the dental field as an RDA. We also attend continuing education seminars to keep our RDA licenses current, allowing us to acquire current knowledge and practice techniques,” commented Program Director, Nicole Alvarez.
