CBX Software Launches Global Sourcing Thought Leadership Series
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 07, 2014 -- CBX Software, the leader in Total Sourcing Management, today announced the launch of a global thought leadership series focused on sharing insight on retail sourcing best practices with industry leaders and sourcing professionals.
Expert insight from sourcing experts will cover topics ranging from setting up an Asia direct sourcing operation, case studies in global sourcing, employing technology to streamline sourcing and effective quality management practices. Each of the globally hosted events will feature speakers from the industry and will provide a forum for open discussion on best practices to simplify sourcing operations.
The first of the series launched in NYC on October 1 with Boston Retail Partners revealing their 2014 Annual Supply Chain Study with a discussion with industry leaders in general merchandising and omnichannel. London and Hong Kong follow on November 7 and December 12 respectively. Additional dates will be posted on the CBX website for 2015 following the NRF show.
The invitation only event in London features a presentation by Richard Laub, CEO of Dragon Sourcing, a sourcing consultancy with offices in major sourcing locations around the world. The event will also feature a round-table discussion led by CBX, providing an opportunity to discuss key sourcing issues impacting retailers and brands.
The flagship event of the Global Sourcing series, Global Sourcing Day, will be held in Hong Kong in December, with more than 100+ sourcing executives from leading global retailers and brands expected to attend. CBX Global Sourcing Day, organized in conjunction with IBM and Tech-Trans, has been held in Hong Kong for the past 6 years.
