CCA For Social Good and the Bainum Family Foundation Launch Web Platform to Support Early Care and Education Professionals in Washington, D.C.
Manchester, NH (PRWEB) October 07, 2016 -- The Bainum Family Foundation and CCA For Social Good, a division of CCA Global Partners, are excited to announce the launch of Early Childhood Share DC. This online platform provides early care and education (ECE) professionals in the District of Columbia access to a knowledge hub of customizable resources that support administrative and programmatic best practices in the operation of a high-quality early care and learning program.
“Early Childhood Share DC, developed through a partnership with the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), is one major step forward in our efforts to improve early learning resources and outcomes in the District of Columbia. We are thrilled to see this come to fruition,” remarked Barbara Bainum, Chair of the Board, CEO and President for the Foundation. “This platform features an array of pragmatic tools and resources that help providers save time, reduce costs, increase quality and share knowledge, allowing them to remain focused on providing the highest quality of care to the children and families they serve.”
The site, http://www.ecsharedc.org, features comprehensive, state-specific resources including policies and procedures, program administration, training, and brand new toolkits to support high-quality child care initiatives such as the Child Care Development Block Grant and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
“The District of Colombia joins 24 states already leveraging the ECE knowledge hub to support the important work of practitioners and to strengthen quality,” stated Denise Sayer, Vice President of CCA For Social Good. “We are honored to serve the Washington, DC, ECE community and be able to provide communities the means to bring quality to scale.”

The site was made available to all licensed providers in the District of Colombia as of Sept. 19, 2016.
